What PWP is:
PWP is single parent friendship group which offers educational support and opportunities to socialize with other single parents in your area. PWP is an international non-profit organization which provides real help to its members by the way of discussions, professional speakers, and social activities for families and adults alike. Through the exchange of ideas and companionship, we hope to further the common welfare and the well-being of our children.
We aren't a dating club though some of our members do date and even get
married.
We aren't a replacement for psychological counseling though we do
offer support.
We're not a social club or swinging singles though we do offer
some social activities
and some of our members can swing dance.
We are a group
dedicated to helping single parents function in a couple-oriented world.
We are open to any parent who is single by reason divorce, loss of spouse, separation, or never
marrying. of
All SINGLE PARENTS are welcome.

I would have to say I joined to meet some new people. I had heard about this group and thought that I would meet some wonderful people (which I have) that I have more things in common with, get together with others and have the kids play. I am glad that I joined and hope that I can get to know lots of people and help others as some have already helped me out. I feel like I have a life again.
