You will have access to our “Member’s Only” forum area where you can interact with other PWP members online, view the Calendar of Events with links to activity descriptions and locations, and download the monthly Dynamic Single Parents newsletter.

NEW MEMBER WELCOME

PWP Raps and Amigos Events give members the opportunity to discuss single parenting and single life and to get perspectives from other members who have been there or who are going through some of the same challenges. You will meet newer and long-term members in a friendly atmosphere.

FAMILY ACTIVITIES

You will spend time with your children and other members and their children participating in fun activities. SomeFamily activities include ice skating, movies, picnics, game nights, hiking, swimming, museum visits, skiing, snowboarding, rockwall climbing, bowling, music, camping, and arts & crafts.

We also have Teen Event Coordinators for our older crowd. These coordinators plan and organize activities for themselves. This gives our older children an opportunity to learn leadership and team working skills.

PROGRAM & EDUCATION (P&E)

P&E activities may be group discussions or topics presented by psychologists, lawyers, and other professionals on relationships, communication skills, finances, parenting information, health & fitness, cultural activities, and even dance lessons. These activities are held in a variety of settings throughout the Denver Metro Area.

PARENT ACTIVITIES

We know you love your children, but there are times when you need to socialize with other parents. Parent activities give you the opportunity to be with other single parents while dining out, going to the movies, taking weekend trips, having house parties, going dancing, seeing concerts & live theatre, participating in theme parties, and much more.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

You will have the chance to participate in activities such as food drives, elderly visits, 5k runs/walks, and sorting medical supplies. PWP offers you and your children positive, rewarding feelings of giving to and helping others in need.

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

PWP offers personal/leadership development workshops at regional and zone meetings and international conventions. Chapters are run by members who volunteer their time to host activities, join committees, and serve on the board of directors.
